I live in California. I am wondering whether there is a state or federal law that obligates the restaurant to serve water. I've heard or read that all California establishments serving food (or drinks) must also provide free (tap) water on request. I haven't actually seen this law though, so can anyone clarify? If there is a law, please cite your sources.
