Is there a website where you can give an idea for a book and have authors use them?

I think I have a good idea for a book but Im only 12 and don't think I could write one. I wouldn't care if I didn't get credit, I just thought it would be a great experience. I really want to be an author when I grow up because I love to read and read all the books for a school Battle of the Books. Do you think you could help me? ( I just want a website, how to do it, and some info.) Thanks

Why do you think you can't write one? Mary Shelly was 18 when she wrote the masterpiece Frankenstein. Then there's that kid who wrote that Ergon series or whatever.

You want to be a writer, so why not start now, while you have an idea that you're excited about. And then later on once you're more experienced, if it's still a good idea, you can be the author that writes the book out for you. You're the only one who can write your own idea.

You want to learn to write good, the first thing you have to is beat the living crap out of that little voice in your head that tells you "You're only twelve, so you probably can't write anything good." The second thing is to write. To write well is to write often.

Besides, you have my curiousity.
