Is there a way you can view your facebook instant chat history?

I really want to review this conversation i had with my crush cause he was telling me this story about how this girl cheated on him when he was dating her. Is there anyway I can look back at it?
PLEASE HELP :D
 
Yeah as long as you havent deleted the chat history and when you log on it is still a pop up at the bottom and you didnt click the x out of it but you have to wait until he comes back on and it will bring up history - If you clicked the x and the pop up box isnt there unfortunately not
