is there a way to upgrade phones before the 18 months with US Cellular?

i am in a 2 year contract and im a little over a year into it and i really would like a new phone. Is there any way to get a newer phone before the 18 months? If i buy a new phone on ebay, will they let me switch phones or is there any way to get around their contracts. Any suggestions would be nice.
