I work in a coffee shop and one big problem we have is finding out where people are sitting? Alot of time and therefore money could be saved and customer service increased if we could work on a method of tracking the table numbers. Ideally food would be ready and the person running the food could look at a location grid and know exactly where that table is.
A chip on each number i assume would be necessary and then some sort of centre device tracking them all. It needs to accurate to within a metre. GPS could be used although is unlikely to be accurate indoors. Bluetooth? how are cats chipped? how accurate are the tools that find them?
I don't know i am thinking out loud, maybe this system doesn't exist right now but is it currently possible with today's tech?
