There is a beautiful, vacant house falling into disrepair that was built in 1879. It is a historical building which has been sitting vacant for quite a while and it is assumed that the owner is a slum lord waiting for property values to increase in that area before she sells it. The problem is the house may be too far gone to save by the time things in Buffalo, NY improve. Is there a way to get her to sell it/fix it? It periodically appears on the auction list, but she always pays the back taxes right before it actually hits the auction block. Thanks!
