Is there a way to send Gtalk messages to your Gtalk app on your Android Device

rather than the Desktop one? I'm trying to make it so that whenever I talk to my friend using Gtalk on the Gtalk program on Windows and I then go downstairs to send it to my Android phone (HTC Desire btw - awesome phone)

Is this possible?

Usually, if I send a message through my computer, it comes back to my computer. If I send it via the phone, it goes back to my phone.

I wonder if there's a way to change it?
