Is there a way to lock the shift key on my keyboard? this is for writing html?

When writing html I have to press the shift key each time I want to enter a < this is annoying. Is there a way to lock the shift key so I dont have to press it each time and it would allow me to just press the < key and the < would be typed, and I dont have to press the shift key? thanks, hope this makes sense.

No.

Besides that would be the same thing as caps lock minus the number keys. If you lock your shift key, everything will be in upper case.
