Is there a way to jimmy rig a moving motor (worn or broken motor mount) in 66 chevy

untill i can fix it right? Its not moving around a whole lot. Its a large engine, 383 stroker and it has always moved around some but right now its rocking side to side with about an inch of play in each direction. I have to drive this every day and don't want it to turn into a bigger repair. Is there a way to jimmy rig this temporarily untill i can afford to fix it right? Its in a 66 chevy el camino. Some people have mentioned that they chain their motors down, would this be effective for a month or so with a worn or busted motor mount? Or does the chaining only help when no motor mounts are busted?
