is there a way to jailbreak/unlock a sprint blackberry curve 8330?

i have a blackberry curve 8330 and the esn is active on another persons account. that account no longer exists. so is there a way i can reset the esn or jailbreak the phone or make this work? im pretty sure there is a way but i just need to find it. i can not activate the phone right now! thanks
