Is there a way to get the DVD player on your playstation 2 to the point you left off?

I was watching the 2nd episode of Season 6 on my computer, and it was screwing up there, I've put in my playstation 2 and playing there, and it's working fine. Is there any way to get it to the pointI I left off at in the episode, I don't want to watch the same thing all over again, it's boring.
