Is there a way to get interent to work on a sidekick lx with an at&t plan?

i got a sidekick lx from my friend and he had t mobile and i have at&t and i have already unlocked the phone so i can text and call people but i do pay for internet with at&t and i was wondering if there was a way to use my at&t internet acsses with the sidekick and to be able to use AIM. thanx
