Is there a way to find the cartesian equation for this?

this is a part of a bigger problem, I have found every other part in the problem, but the other parts don't really relate to the cartesian equation (finding d2y/dx2). I graphed the curve, and it is a repeating parabola every 2 pi. Always positive, and has maximums at multiples odd number integer multiples of pi (y=2) If it is necessary to even know this. So here is what is given and i need to find the cartesian equation...
y=1-cos t x= t-sin t t=pi/3

Thanks
