I'm wondering out of curiosity. I had to dump a bucket of water outside today and I was going to dump it on the steps and then I realized it was too cold, the water would freeze...or would it? It was very hot water and would be spread out very thin over the steps. It made me think, how much of this water will evaporate before it freezes? Is there some kind of formula with which to figure this out? If so, can anyone explain it? Thanks!
