Is there a way to do a untethered jailbreak on iPhone 3Gs 4.2.1?

I've been searching for days for this on youtube and other sites, but there are only misleading videos and articles on the net. Is there a way to do an untethered jailbreak on iPhone 3Gs 4.2.1? If so, can you please provide the link. I'll be doing it on a Mac. I've tried redsn0w and Limera1n and they both only work for the tethered jailbreak. Please help.
