Is there a way to cancel my alltel wireless internet for free?

Well, the situation is that, my dad had to pay for a 2 year contract and that's when alltel had a tower somewhat close by. Now, we have no alltel towers near us, so we are always roaming and my internet stick doesn't work for nothing. So I was just wondering if there was something we can do so we don't have to pay the early cancelation fee.
