Yes. It is called V+. It is actually better than Sky+ -
1. It has 3 tuners so you can record two channels and watch one. Sky+ only has 2 tuners - it lets you watch one and record one.
2. I believe you get the whole of the hard disk on V+. Sky reserve half of the disk on Sky+ for Sky Anytime.
3. V+ has true Video on Demand (VoD). Sky Anytime is a pretend implementation of VoD (its not technically possible to deliver real Video on Demand via satellite) Sky Anytime has a few hours of content - a fraction of the content on Virgin on Demand.
4. The standard V+ box is HD compatible, with Sky you need to get Sky+ HD, which costs more. However, Sky does currently have more HD channels.
