Is there a verse in the Bible where God asks us to help him?

I've heard twice now from two different sources that there's a bible verse where God actually asks (what I'm assuming is Israel) to help Him, but I've never read it for myself. I'm just wondering if anyone else has heard of this, and if there is such a verse, where exactly in scripture can I find it.

Hmmm, I can't think of anything but John 21:16 is where Jesus asks us to help him somewhat.

16 Again Jesus said, “Simon son of John, do you love me?”

He answered, “Yes, Lord, you know that I love you.”

Jesus said, “Take care of my sheep.”

(Obviously, Jesus meant sheep as in us, his children...he was speaking metaphorically and he was saying this because he knew he was about to die)

how do u know the bible isn't just a story book of fiction that people found and took seriously
