is there a such thing as misjudgment on a driving test?

on the road test i took just today i got failed becuz i failed to stop at stop signs but i did i stoped completely at everone of them it was a short test course at this intersection i came to i was the first one there and there no cars but i looked both left and right and ididnt i was the one who arived first but i guess the other had the right away but i thot i was allowed to go if i was far way from he was over 150 feet away
