Is there a Successor to "D-Pen?"

Remember about a year ago you could get this "digital highlighter" looking pen that you ran along lines of text - it copied them, and you could then beam to your PDA? They were the "C-Pen," and had mixed reviews -- but came with a dictionary. They're gone from retail shelves. I did a Google and found 3 different models, the best being "Docu-Pen" D-Pen, which apparently does graphics as well as text.

Here's the googled link I found:
http://www.mobileplanet.com/product.asp?pf_id=MP580948&dept_id=7110&src=IN492&mn_email=EMAIL

I realize this link has them online, but I was wondering if anyone has seen them in RETAIL STORES store so I can actually demo it first. $190 is a little steep for 3-5 usages!!

I'm interested in one for copying selections of text from manuals into my Palm (automotive diagnostic computer codes, to be exact) so I have them on hand. Other wonderful uses include "zipping" someone's business card or copying restaurant menu items - invaluable tool - sorry I didnt' get one before they disappeared from RETAIL shelves.

Any input would be appreciated. If anyone's tried one with BAD results, please let me know that too.
