Is there a step-by-step guide to jailbreak and unlock the iPhone 3G running IOS4.1?

I just got the iPhone 4 and I want to jailbreak and unlock the iPhone 3G. I've been researching and I haven't seen many decent guides that could help me. I have a Windows PC so I would need the programs to be compatible with Windows, not Mac.
I'm looking to do this myself, not use a paid service.
