is there a spray to de-contaminet mercury?

i had a mercury themoniter in my pants pocket that i washed and dried and found the toob in my dyer along with little pieces of the mercury but is there a spray i can use to dry up the mercruy or de-contaminet it so i dont need to buy a new washer
