Is there a smaller Ignitor Unit for a 1981 yamaha xs400?

The reason I ask is because I'm hardtailing one and my electronics will be going into my fake oil tank. With the ignition switch, seliniod, etc it really doesn't fit. I appreciate any help. I opened the ignitor unit box to see about making a smaller case but looks like that's a no go. Thanks
