Is there a similar "task" function for MAC Entourage as there is to Windows Outlook?

I have two girls that work for me that are operating on MAC's and using Entourage for their email. I have Microsoft Outlook but would like to send them "task" notifications so they can keep me updated on the progress of their work. Does Entourage have something similar that we can all use? Is there a way to make it conducive to both systems?
