Is there a SD card backup that works on the T5?

Once I installed the T5 update from Palmone (v1.1), I have been able to use the latest version of BackupMan on my 2/3 full T5 (I believe those users of T5/T650s with small amounts of used RAM/ROM could use these utilities without a problem).
I have not tried Botzam Backup, BBVFS, or Teal backup yet (I tried all of these when I first got my T5 without success). I imagine all of these would work, but I love and trust BackupMan from my T3 days, and from their updates and open dialog about the T5 shortcomings.

I was forced to give BackupBuddyVFS the acid test on my T5. It failed miserably. Not only did it fail to restore my files, but in the process of trying it created a fatal error which wiped out most of my application registration data and OS preferences.
I'm now using Botzam but haven't been brave enough to try a full blooded reset and restore.

"BackupBuddy was a huge waste of time and TRASH for me. Others disagree. jkware's CardBackup "glitched" once on me but still restored okay, and has been flawless every other time. TealBackup glitched once (on a test) because I did not disable all hacks first (it's picky about those!). But both work, both have been tested with hard resets."
I think the only "prayer" you have for T5 backup, based on reading the latest on several programs and the Tealpoint forum discussing possible problems related to NSVS systems, is: TealBackup and whatever YOU ALL have found that actually WORKS.
Please understand I'm not simply "pushing" TealBackup here; I IN FACT prefer CardBackup from jkware due to speed (very, very quick, and restore WORKS) - but THAT IS ON A T3. The T5 is a different animal, and although some have claimed to have problems with TealBackup using a T5, at least it works "mostly."
I don't think there is a FLAWLESS T5 utility "yet," but if I had a T5 I'd go with the "slower" TealBackup for everything (I use it to make encrypted backups of about 12 databases, and that takes up to 20 seconds alone!). Choosing no encryption and "automated during the night," would of course eliminate some waiting time.

The message says "system backup failed, file error (0x2A02). It will save up to 4 backups and there is one successful one for yesterday, so it does run without this error at times. I have no idea whether it would actually backup thge unit if required to do so and I don't have the energy right now to try. I will go now and check with their tec support and see what they say. I'll keep you posted.

How wonderful to get a tec support response in one day and on a holiday weekend. In response to my error they said:
"You need to format your memory card using the Card Info utility of the
Tungsten T5. That should make your error go away.". I backed up the SD card on my PC, formatted it using the "Card Info" program on the T5 (always wondered what it was for), ran a backup and it ran without problem. But will it restore?

OK folks, in the name of science and peaceful sleep, I synched my T5 and (gulp) did a HARD reset. With my now blank T5, I ran a restore from the SD card and it seems to be perfect. Even checked the Wifi card and settings and it worked fine. So, on my T5 with my programs, backupman does seems to work as advertised.

Honestly . . . I'm proud of you. Takes a lot to hit that button!!! THE ONLY WAY YOU REALLY KNOW . . . . believe me - I've done several and it can be a bit of a "seat stainer."
But now when you're miles away from the "old PC," and working away . . . you just won't care. You'll know. No substitute for that.
