Several of my friends and I are poets and we're in the process of trying to get our work more widely spread around the Austin area in Texas. Ideally, I'd like to find an existing publication or several publications who would be willing to sell space within their publications for us to print our poetry. I would rather avoid some of the larger publication suggestions since those usually cost thousands if they even decide to entertain the possibility of your offer.
I'm open to any type of suggestions. As long as I can find somewhere pre-existing copies of previous publications for whichever you suggest, I'm open. I don't need people to try to con me by saying they're in charge of publications when they're really not and just try to take my money.
Oh, and if you're wondering, I have a printing company as a contact for other ways to "advertise" our poetry such as shirts, banners, flyers, etc so I'm not looking for a printing company. Thanks in advance.
