Is there a prepaid cell phone that will except collect calls from jail?

I have a sprint phone right now, but my fiance is in jail. A lot of the people there we're telling him to tell me i needed to get metroPCS because it would be a lot cheaper then setting up a prepaid account on my house phone. And i have a different area code then the area hes in. I just dont want to go out and buy a prepaid phone and then it not work. Ive read plenty of questions and answers like this but none of them are helping me out. I also read something about a TracPhone, i just wanna find a phone that will actually be able to accept calls from the jail
