Is there a particular type of hand grip needed to be able to fit bar ends on...

...motox bikes? My grips need replacing but i would like to fit bar ends also. i am new to motox and was wondering coz my stock grips have their ends covered by rubber and was wondering if the aftermarket grips do not have their ends covered so that bar ends can be fitted..or do we cut the ends off < i dont think so tho.
