I like art in general but I'm definitely not an expert, so here's my story: A few years ago I was given two engravings as a present from a diplomat who served his tour in Mexico City.
Both belong to the same Artist, dated (Mexico 76 and Mexico 77), signed ( from what I see, it's a 3 or 4 letter signature containing a capital "E" a capital "M" and a capital "S") and numbered (12/30 and 10/30) .
Despite my efforts I didn't get to identify the Artist or their work. It's contemporary art (not sure about the correct usage of the term), so there's no way to accurately describe the themes but the first is a beach with sand dunes and plants ending to a wavy sea full of fish bones while the other looks like an Incas artifact though I can't be sure.
I would be happy to email photos to anyone who thinks they could be of help.
Of course it could be just a "nobody" but still, I would feel much better knowing who the artist is and a few things about their life story.
