My transmission went out on my GTP, only goes in reverse, and I thought now would good time to look into all options. I've heard rumors of the F 40 6 speed from the G6 bolting right up, is this true or would you need something like a different flywheel? Also price is a slight concern so should I just shelf the idea for a while and just rebuild or replace this tranny? Any help is appreciated.
