I work in an Iowa jail and lately the question has come up "Does Iowa have a mandatory minimum staffing for jails" We have come under strict budgetary concern and have been reduced from what was previously an officer to inmate ratio of 1:13 to 1:24. This has drawn a lot of concern for officer safety from all of the officers. Anyone have any input?

OFFICER SAFTEY?????? i have been arrested 4 times..... and i never did any thing wrong.... i have NEVER been convicted........ every time i have been locked up for a few days..... myself and all other prisinors where abused and tortured by the C'O's...... YOU might not realize that your an evil pig... but you are.... who gives a shit about officer saftey... your a pig who should be roasted any way... you freakin animal.... i hope your killed by one of the inmates.... by my guess... about 30 % of all inmates should not be in there..... thats a very high number... and you are part of the problem pig.... you take money to inflict torture...... kill your self befor a good man in jail does it for you pig.... your discusting... god i hate cops and all like them.... pigs all of you... animals... your no better then the people you lock up
