Is there a less rickety vehicle similar to the Suzuki Sidekick?

I really like the Suzuki Sidekick, but I have to say the rickety, noisy ride and the discomfort of the back seats are enough to make me reconsider buying one. I don't speak cars at all, so can anyone tell me if there exists a vehicle similar to the Sidekick with a smoother, less noisy ride?
