...refuses payments and sends it back? My Aunt had knee surgery and is now receiving bills, which she lives on social security because she is over 65. She is sending payments on all the bills coming in . One doctor has refused her payment and sent it back to her stating that "they do not except anything less than the full amount." The bill is only $19 dollars but due to her limited income and trying to make payments on all the bills she sent them $5 dollars and let them know she would be making payments to pay the bill off.
