we drove from kansas to denver and then when we stopped at a light it started jerking then slowly we got it to go and made it close to home and stopped and it wouldnt move,then we put it in the gear where you shift it. and it chugged home. but it wont move
 
In what way is it bad?

Intrepid transmissions are known for having problems with the solenoid pack and the input and output speed sensors. All are fairly simple driveway type repairs.
