Is there a gadget where you can overhear people's conversations?

I remember seeing commercial for some type of gadget where you can overhear people's conversations. I think it is "disguised" as a blue tooth thing, and it magnifies the conversation around you so you can overhear it. I just want to know the name of the gadget so I can see the commercial again.
