Is there a fuse for the four wheel drive push button on a 93 ford ranger v6?

the 4x4 will not engage and the light doesn't light up on the dash. I am wondering if there is a fuse somewhere on the truck other than in the fuse box... because according to the fuse layout it doesn't have one. any help would be greatly appreciated.
