Is there a driver for a nexxtech 8 gb flash drive that has had the complete memory erased?

I recently bought a 8 gb nexxtech usb flash drive. we plugged it into a computer to back the computer up. after this we started to reinstall the operating system. We accidentally deleted the partition on the flash drive rather than the one on the computer. we seen our mistake and went back but the partition was already deleted. Now the flash drive can not be read by any computers properly. It gives this error:first it says" you need to format this disk" so i click format. I then click "start' it then says " windows can not format this disk". I was wondering if there was a driver i could install to make my flash drive work again. Thanks
