...the better? they say a dog is a good friend, i rescued a dog from my local animal shelter, a pitbull mix, i fell in love with his hazel eyes, and he was the only dog, happy to see me walk through. after i got him, my ideas on pitbulls changed, i thought they were mean, and fought with every dog they saw, i sign the adoption papers, and thats when it hit me, what am i doing, he might hurt my two little poodles, what if he turns on me and attacks me? i took him home, regretting everything on my way home, i was thinking that maybe i should turn back, and get another dog, but he just looked at me with those eyes, and waged his tail, he completely trusted me, i fell bad. before i knew it i was home, he wouldnt walk in my home, without me there, he walked by me at all times, and when he saw my two dogs, he waged his tail and lick there faces, i almost cried, he now stays outside with my one year old poodle, he is so small compared to him, but he has never growled at him, or anyone, my poodle will play with him, when he is trying to sleep and he never gets mad, maybe annoyed but never reacts to it. he change the way i thought about his breed.
