is there a direct train that goes from jfk airport to newark penn station?

my husband and I are traveling to new york city for the first time and would like to know how to get to the hilton hotel that is connected to newark penn station. We are flying into jfk airport. It seems very confusing. Which train do we take? E train, A train, Path, subway or what? what is the LIRR. doesn't that just go to and from long island? help
