Is there a difference between Dead@17 Ultimate edition and Compendium edition?

The compendium edition was released a year earlier with viper comics and the ultimate edition with Image. The ultimate edition has about fifteen more pages. Previews for both editions show different pages but both are collections of the Dead@17 comic series.

I like the preview pages of the compendium edition more but if they are included in the ultimate edition I would just purchase that because it is newer and longer.
