Is there a current or upcoming phone that meets all my criteria?

Hey guys, my employer now officially supports Android for work email so it's time to ditch my crappy iPhone and go with something better. I have a list of things I'd like in a phone, and I'm wondering if there's a current or upcoming phone that will meet these criteria. Here's what I'm looking for:

- Android OS
- Also supports 3rd party SIM cards/GSM (for international use). As I understand it, there are some CDMA phones that also have GSM compatability.
- 4G
- Full-size touchscreen
- Fast processor
- Preferably has micro/mini SD card slot
- Preferably has gorilla glass

Any ideas? Thanks!
 
No preference really, though I would probably like to avoid AT&T if I could since I have them now and calls drop like crazy (don't know if its AT&T or my iphone 3G).

Sprint and Verizon are a-ok with me. I travel a lot so I'm not sure if T-mobile's voice/data network is as expansive.
 
Hey FiveOmar, the problems you are having with your iPhone dropping calls in this case is definitely related to AT&T and not your iPhone. Since you have the iPhone 3G, you do not suffer from the "grip of death" like the older versions of the iPhone 4 do.

I would probably think if you are on Sprint, go with the myTouch 4G. Verizon currently doesn't have any 4G phones running on their network, and they have very limited 4G coverage. (AT&T doesn't have ANY 4G coverage). As for the other carriers I do not know what kinds of phones they have or what kinds of networks they have. Hope this helps.
 
UPDATE: In all of the areas that AT&T is acquiring from Alltel there will be solid HSPA+ coverage and will result in America's largest 4G network.

Sounds like Samsung Vibrant 4G aka Galaxy S 4G. From T-Mobile.

US carrier phones do not take international SIM cards unless they are in GSM and unlocked. However, unlocking yourself may void warranty. Another way is to get expensive by paying the ETF and then adjusting your plan, since you have early terminated your contract.

The Vibrant 4G or Galaxy S 4G might take T-Mobile Europe SIMs though.

If you got CDMA, you may wait for HTC Merge. This has a GSM SIM slot but its not unlocked. It may take SIMs from Verizon's partner, Vodafone. Similarly, there is the Droid Pro and Droid 2 Global, also CDMA phones with SIMs lots for an international SIM.

The Nexus S is unlocked out of the box, but it has no Gorilla glass---it uses instead a very high tech, proprietary Samsung glass technology. It has no micro SD slot, although it comes with 16gb. It works on both T-Mobile and international 3G. I would recommend this above all.
