Is there a correlation between reading ability or vocabulary and Intelligence Quotient? Because I don't have access to an accurate IQ test, but I have a VERY extensive vocabulary for my age (99th percentile) and I have read the Illiad in 4 days, read the Divine Comedy in three days, and read books that are much more intellectually stimulating and advanced than my peers. My reading speed is also 795 words per minute with a comprehension rate of 91.4% accuracy. I have difficulty with mathematical equations and paying attention, though.
