Is there a cheaper substitute for vanilla extract?

I love Starbucks' pumpkin spice latte, but it is so expensive. So I found a recipe online, which calls for lots of vanilla extract. Basically, the DIY version will almost come out to be close to the same price of Starbucks' version.

Try Vanillacrystals.ca. The problem in your recipe is that your using extract which is alcohol based and evaporates when heated. Vanillacrystals are heat activated. They are all natural and the taste is addiciting:tongue out:
