the title is basically the question.. but i see videos of people riding the 250x and it looks pretty fast. I know the 250r is all racing and the 250x is trails.. but yes is there a big difference?
The difference is that some of the 250x's are used for baja racing and are jetted up or made to race which makes it seem like it is very similar to the 250r. The 250r stock against a stock 250x would be a blowout and the 250r would be faster. So in conclusion, the difference is not big or not small.
