Is the year 2012 the end of civilization as we know it?

Ive seen a few shows on t.v dealing with this. The Mayan calender, some chinese calender, and this so called "bible code" all have something catastrophic (possibly the end of the Earth) happening in 2012. Just wondering if anyone had any opinions.
 
No, Jesus answers this question to his apostles in the Bible in Matthew 24:36 explaining the Only the Father, (meaning God) knows the day or the hour, (a sign of Christs' return) (Which is signaling the final day)...so it goes on the read ....
ONLY THE FATHER KNOWS THE DAY AND THE HOUR, NOT EVEN THE ANGELS OF HEAVEN, NOR DOES THE SON OF MAN.

People have been saying these things for years, But only God really knows. Read the whole of Matthew chapter 24, it is the sermon on the mount given by Jesus to his apostles, it will explain what are the signs of the end of the days to come.

its the Nostradomous prediction
Nostradomous predicted a lot many things and made a record of his predictions
when people discovered his predictions they cannot read it correctly because he was not clear with the dates and all
so they just keep on guessing with the predictions

i was told once that at 2000 the world would end
seeing that we have crossed it lets hope that the human civilisation flourishes on and on
 
No. There have been many predictions in the past, saying the world is going to end, and we're still here.
Don't worry.
 
Every year is the end of civilization as we know it. We are in a period of very rapid change. And the change is accelerating. At this point, change is inevitable, except from vending machines.
