Many claim to have "free-will", that they are able to make a choice without any influencing factors. This is impossible in the realm of choice, and if it were actually how it is, no one would ever choose anything. They would remain in a state of "freedom" from influence and nothing would cause them to "pick this or that". Man's faculty of choice must be acted upon by something for a choice to be made.
For those who understand "free-will" as having the ability to choose of one's own volition....I think that this definition of free-will actually cofuses the real issue and should be relabeled, volitional choice...what do you think?
