I have been called in for an interview for the position: Associate - IT software development programmer. From what I've heard, It's a great thing to have on your resume, especially if you're a new graduate without industry experience which is exactly the position I'm in, but I wonder if its absolutely useful. I've read mixed reviews from people online about the benefits and disadvantages. Like, what's the incentive for us, to put in so many hours (min 32/week) if there's not a penny in it?!
Also I read about how they don't give out references or associate themselves with Bell like they should and stuff!!! Is that true?? I would like to know how focused and useful the "work" part of it is, in pushing forward a career in IT.
I would really appreciate some input from current/past associates!
Thanks!
p.s : Pointers about the selection procedure, interviews and tests would be great too!!!
