Is the universe limited? What lies "outside" the universe?

If the universe is expanding, that means that at any time it's limited. (correct me if I'm wrong)

So what's...outside the universe?

What would it be liked if we went to the border of the universe (what "is" the border of the universe like?)

Lets say we could travel as fast as inflation and constantly be right next to the "edge of the universe". What would that be like?

I have so many questions but little knowledge...
Is there even a state of "existence" right outside the realm of the universe?

I mean, even if there's nothingness (like in deep space where there are only a few atoms here and there), that still exists because we could travel through it.

(If that makes sense)

Isn't it amazing how "existence" can be created? Oh, and exactly how is existence created, does the process require a certain amount of physical properties (like building blocks)?

Sorry, I just really want to know these deeper truths!
