I'm looking to buy one of these as my first bike when I can. I always hear that a 600cc is a good starting point, and the Thruxton has a ~900cc parallel twin, however it only has an output of around 70 horsepower. I just want to know if it's easy to handle and forgiving to ride for a beginner. The bike has everything else that I'm looking for. If not, what are some other cafe-racer style bikes that would be good to start on?
