is the Toyota prepaid maintenance package worth it?

I recently bought a 2010 Toyota corolla. The finance guy sold me the package where you pre-pay for the routine things such as tune ups and oil changes. He said that the benefit to this was that the price would go up over time and you don't pay tax. Also he said it was convenient to take ti to any Toyota place with a coupon and you would not be haggled with the price (although this sort of seems that he is implying that Toyota places could be dishonest which seems silly for a Toyota employee to suggest....).

Its worth it as long as you DO the service. Like gift cards, a lot of the profit comes from the fact that people get lazy and forget to do all the routine maintenance. If you do all the service you paid for, it is a benefit.
